Customer Experience

Riverwood Homes is committed to making your home buying experience pleasant and painless. From pre-construction until the end of your warranty period, we provide personal, attentive service.  We understand that buying a house is often an unfamiliar and overwhelming experience, but we will guide you through the process. Our customers are the reason we are in business, and every home buyer is valued and appreciated. We are constantly listening to our customers and striving to improve as a company to provide better service and a better product.

Build Process

We offer multiple floor plans to accommodate singles, couples, and families of various sizes. Our homes come with an impressive standard package, eliminating the need to upgrade or remodel later. Still, we do have available upgrades and add-ons for those who want more than our standard features. While we do not allow buyers to make significant structural changes to our plans, we do allow some minor modifications during the design phase to customize the home to meet your specific needs. Home buyers are also allowed to choose their colors and fixtures from our show room and to customize your landscape plan. For items that are typically purchased after you close the home (fridge, washer and dryer, window blinds, etc) we allow buyers to roll that into your mortgage to avoid having to pay out of pocket later.

During construction we meet with our buyers periodically at the job site to review the progress of the house, answer any questions you have, talk about your preferences for shelving and tile, and correct any blemishes or mistakes. We give our buyers access to the online job schedule so they can stay in the loop, and we send weekly photo updates and talk about upcoming steps.

Building a home can be frightening and overwhelming to people, but we try to keep it simple and avoid any unpleasant surprises for our customers. We try to make the process fun and exciting along the way, and make sure our home buyers think of their home as the best decision they made for years to come.

Resources

Before getting started with a new build, we encourage you to read our online reviews (Facebook, Google, Houzz, etc). We have a lot of information on our website, but our sales agents are the best resource for obtaining information about our available floor plans and lots, standard features, available upgrades, processes, and prices. Once you've selected a floor plan that best fits your needs, we will be happy to set up a meeting with you to discuss your questions and requests before you sign a contract.
